Urban development in Frankfurt

The exchange between practice and politics is essential, especially in an international financial metropolis like Frankfurt. Hardly any other sector depends on political conditions as much as the real estate industry.
In my daily work, I am in close contact with investors, developers, and owners. Investors regularly tell me about the challenges they face regarding approval procedures, building regulations, and project economic feasibility.
I am delighted to be able to contribute this perspective to an expert discussion group on urban development at the Frankfurter Union starting this week. It's not about politics but professional dialogue and the transfer of market-oriented perspectives. The aim is to make the practical perspective understandable and provide impetus for how developments can be made more realistic and investable.
Frankfurt needs framework conditions that enable investment and make projects economically viable.
For example, Frankfurt's building land decision is a locational disadvantage that often thwarts the urgently needed creation of living space.
I look forward to further discussions.
