This week, I was at the law firm McDermott Will & Emery in Frankfurt's Westend. The professional association Urban Land Institute (ULI) organized a panel discussion with the internationally active law firm.
Various market participants, such as project developers, institutional investors, and bank representatives, examined the current market environment for real estate project development and transaction business in an open discussion.
Moderation:
Dr. Johannes Honzen (McDermott Will & Emery)
Panel:
Dr. Jens Ortmanns (McDermott Will & Emery)
Andreas Grießinger (Berlin Hyp)
Ramin Rabeian (Montano)
Frederike Krinn (Landmarken)
Honoré Achille Simo (JLL)
In addition to the market analyses and the exciting exchange among the participants, the location was certainly the highlight. McDermott Will & Emery also occupies the top two floors of the "Morrow" office building, which has spacious terraces and an impressive view of the Frankfurt skyline.
The building was recently extensively revitalized in a joint venture between Art-Invest Real Estate and Red Square. In addition to the existing DGNB Platinum certificate, the property was the first development in an existing building to receive the Diamond award from the German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB).
Thanks to the organizers for a successful evening with many interesting encounters and stimulating discussions.
