SkyRun in the Messeturm Frankfurt

This week, I found it particularly exciting from a real estate perspective to see how the Messeturm is transformed into a sporting stage. Once a year, the skyscraper becomes a challenge for runners as part of the SkyRun. Since its premiere in 2007, the charity stair run has become a permanent fixture in Frankfurt's sporting calendar. Tomorrow, Sunday (01.06.2025), 61 floors, over 1,200 steps, and around 213 meters of altitude are waiting to be conquered at the best time. The participants will be supported by the cheerleaders of the American football team Frankfurt Universe, among others.

From the real estate industry perspective, the SkyRun offers the Messeturm a good opportunity to strengthen its public image and reinforce its image as a landmark property. The event raises the Messeturm's profile as an icon among Frankfurt's skyscrapers. Sporting events promote community and create emotional moments. The Messeturm benefits from favorable media coverage and increased attention. This strengthens its positioning as a dynamic, attractive location and will certainly also positively affect marketing in the long term.
