I was at Radio Frankfurt at the City Gate at Nibelungenplatz this week. My network also extends to personalities outside the real estate industry who are inactive on social media. Independent fund manager Wolfram Lohre is one of them. With over 40 years of professional experience as an asset manager and fund manager, he invests across borders for his clients in various investment funds via a fund of funds.
Whenever we meet, we discuss whether real estate or stocks are the better investment. Buying real estate and investing in shares are popular forms of capital accumulation. Real estate is considered a stable investment while investing in shares always involves risk. We can never really agree on whether investing in real estate or shares is smarter. That was also the case with Radio Frankfurt regarding financial freedom. Ultimately, it depends on the individual type of investor.
