10 years Polis Convention
The organizer of the Polis Convention and publisher of Polis Magazine, Prof. Dr. Johannes Busmann, hosted the annual Polis Convention in Düsseldorf again this week. The event is a trade fair for development projects and urban development with an accompanying conference. This year, the first day of the trade fair was followed by a special celebration in the form of a party to mark the tenth anniversary. As usual, the venue was Jamestown's Areal Böhler.
The event is an excellent platform for networking with developers, investors, financiers, architects, planners, cities, and local authorities. The accompanying congress, a key trade fair focus, offers in-depth insights into the current issues and challenges of urban and development projects.
The highlight of the Polis Convention is undoubtedly the presentation of the Polis Awards, which takes place on the evening of the first day of the trade fair. The awards recognize forward-looking projects that have cooperatively dealt with the context of the individual city. The three best projects in each of the eight categories will be honored.
