This week, I was in Frankfurt's West End Tower. Green Lion CEO Michael Fesselmann and Nina Joneleit-Mabeka (Managing Partner) hosted a Boss Table at the Frankfurt location for the first time. The ESG format was deliberately kept small, with a targeted selection of participants from the management level and entrepreneurship to maintain discretion. The focus was on open discussions about regulation, the use of technology, and the role of ESG in practice.
ESG is not a focus of my daily work. Nevertheless, as a valuation expert and broker, I closely monitor developments. With guests such as Prof. Dr. Thomas Beyerle (Biberach University) and Hanna Ritter (Reicon Consulting), the event was a good opportunity to gain first-hand insights into the latest developments. It was particularly relevant for me how ESG factors can affect investment decisions and financing processes.
Overall, the Boss Table was well structured in terms of content. ESG was viewed from very different perspectives. The range of approaches to ESG was particularly informative for me. It became clear that generalized solutions are not appropriate for the topic.
I thank Michael Fesselmann and the Green Lion Consulting team for inviting me. The format was convincing.
